Wedding Ring Warming Ceremony

If you are looking for something that will help make your wedding a unique and special occasion, having a ring warming ceremony might be just what you are looking for. Many couples find that this ritual is one of the highlights of their special day. There are certain things you will want to consider before you decide if this custom is one you would like to add to your wedding.

Many wedding rings are very expensive, some are unique, and all of them are special to the bride and groom. It may make the couple extremely nervous to have those rings circulating through a crowd of well wishers. If this thought makes you apprehensive, there are several different ways of including the ritual without the dread that something might happen to the rings.

Some couples tie the rings together with ribbon so that they can't become separated. Others put the rings in a small bag and pass the bag out to the visitors. Still others entrust their rings with the person attending the guest book who then offers them to the visitors as they enter the site for the wedding.

Placing the rings at the guest registry can be a very good idea. Passing the rings from guest to guest at the beginning of the wedding can be time consuming. If this is what you decide to do, plan to have some music or readings going on at the same time.

There are situations for which this custom is not appropriate. If you are having an extremely large wedding, this ritual may not be workable. If you are having an outdoor wedding such as a wedding on the beach, you probably do not want to take a chance on this custom.

A ring warming ceremony can make your special day even more special. You know that your friends and family have shown their love and support in a very unique way.
